The Process

Choosing the right wedding officiant is one of the most important decisions you’ll make during the wedding planning process, because the way your ceremony feels will be something you and your families will remember forever. I work closely with you to create a fully customized ceremony that celebrates your unique relationship, and I never deliver a generic “cookie cutter” script.

As a seasoned wedding professional I perform over a hundred religious and secular wedding ceremonies each year, and it is my promise to you that I will create a memorable, heartfelt experience for you and your wedding guests.

Whether you are interested in something short and sweet, or a complicated customized wedding, I am happy to collaborate with you to make your wedding ceremony exactly what you’re looking for.

I offer a simple, convenient online booking process that makes planning your wedding ceremony easy and fun.  Each wedding ceremony package includes the following:

Initial Consultation – I want you to feel totally comfortable booking my services, which is why I offer a free, no-obligation consultation with you before you ever sign a contract.

I typically conduct these initial consultations in-person if you are in South Florida or via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Hangouts or by phone.

Planning Meeting – In this meeting we cover the information necessary to help me in writing your ceremony to make sure it reflects your beliefs and personalities.

Ceremony Editing – Following our planning meeting, I will prepare a full draft of your ceremony and email it to you for your review.  You can revise your draft ceremony as much as you’d like until it is the exact wedding ceremony you want, and then simply email your edited changes back to me when you have finished reviewing the ceremony.  I want your wedding ceremony to feel perfect – and if you need additional suggestions or guidance, I am happy to help you at no additional charge.

The Ceremony! – On your wedding day I will arrive at your wedding one hour early to help coordinate with your attendants and vendors and get ready for the processional.  I am more than happy to work with other wedding professionals, and I am perfectly comfortable with photographers taking pictures anywhere they would like during the ceremony.  I will then deliver the exact ceremony we have discussed, and create a wonderful experience for you and your guests.

The Marriage License – Although it’s your responsibility to get the marriage license before the wedding, I will take care of signing it afterward and filing it with the proper office.  I will also email a copy of your marriage license for you to keep, in case you need it for your records or on your honeymoon.
